The J&J Barcelona League is a social competition organized by Bachata Nights, Seven Dance, and DioClub, celebrating the essence of social bachata dancing in Barcelona. Through different editions, dancers accumulate points by participating in our Jack & Jill events, ranking according to their performance in three categories: Entry, Intermediate, and Pro. More than just a competition, it’s an opportunity to grow, connect, and enjoy dancing with the bachata community.

🏆 Scoring System
The J&J Barcelona League rewards consistency, effort, and social connection in every edition. In each event, participants earn points based on their performance and progress throughout the season.
🔹 General Scoring:
Participation in an edition: +1 point
Qualify for semifinals: +2 additional points
Qualify for finals: +4 additional points
Points by final placement:
🥇 1st place → +10 points
🥈 2nd place → +8 points
🥉 3rd place → +6 point
🔹 Categories based on accumulated points:
Entry: 0 – 7 points
Intermediate: 8 – 15 points
Pro: 16 points or more
Dancers automatically advance to the next category once they reach the minimum required points. The goal is not only to compete but to continue growing as a social dancer in a fun, inclusive, and energetic environment.
